API Documentation - Overview

Base URL

All URLs referenced in the documentation have the following base URL:

https://app.whatconverts.com/api/v1/

HTTP requests to the API are protected with HTTP Basic authentication. HTTP Basic authentication for WhatConverts consists of a token and secret.

Profile Key

From your WhatConverts dashboard, first navigate to an account (required for agency plans) then select a profile in your account. If you have only one profile in your account it will be automatically selected.
Select the Tracking dropdown at the top of the page.
Select "Integrations" then click on "API Keys".
Click on the button "Generate API Key".
Your API key will be generated and appear on the page.

Master Account Key

An agency plan is required to obtain a master account key.

From your WhatConverts agency dashboard, select "Integrations" then click on "API Keys" from the dropdown menu.
Click on the button "Add API Key".
Your API key will be generated and appear on the page.

As an agency plan you have the option to use the method described for the profile key to get your API key as well.

Profile Key

Your profile API key can be used to make up to 1,000 requests per day.

Master Account Key

Your master account API key can be used to make up to 10,000 requests per day.

Your API key can be used to make up to 1 request every millisecond.

Leads	The leads resource allows you to retrieve, edit, and add leads.
Recordings	The recordings resource allows you to retrieve a recording.
